    Job Description
    A in Calhoun, GA is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to be responsible for leading and administering processes, policies, and programs for their facility.
    The major areas of responsibility include: recruitment and selection, employee onboarding, performance management, compensation, employee relations, and training and development.

    The qualified candidate will have the following:
    * A minimum of 3+ years experience in the human resources area, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    * Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, communications, performance management, and training and development.
    * Advanced project management skills.
    * An approachable attitude.

    Pay/Salary is negotiable.

    Responsibilities would include but not limited to:
    * Working with site leadership, supervisors and employees at all levels to lead the human resources initiatives to achieve business goals.
    * Develop and administer policy.
    * Develop an effective recruitment strategy and manage the recruitment, selection and onboarding of all hourly and salaried personnel, working with the supervisors/managers of the positions.
    * Train and coach managers and employees on topics including performance management, benefits and wellness, workplace diversity and business policies.
    * Witness employee disciplinary and termination procedures and provide input to managers on resolving employee issues.
    * Ensure accuracy of employee data and employee files.
