SUMMARY:Sonoraville Recreation Complex to host Dizzy Dean World Championship
DESCRIPTION:Once again Gordon County is revving up for Dizzy Dean! The Sonoraville Recreation Complex will be the scene of over 40 teams qualifying for the World Championship competition.  The weekends of June 29 - July 1 and July 6 - 8\, over 500 young baseball players\, with their coaches\, parents\, and other family members will make their way to Gordon County. Welcome bags are being prepared for the teams and all our local businesses are invited to contribute to the bags. Coupons\, flyers\, menus\, logo items\, etc\, are needed to fill the bags. A minimum of 55 items is needed for each team bag. (There could possibly be 55 Team bags.)  For items in each individual team member bag\, please provide 12 items per team bag. (An average of 12 players per team.)  Item deadline is Friday\, June 22 at the Chamber of Commerce.  \nAlso\, restaurants are encouraged to place a welcome message on their business sign.\nFor more information call 706-625-3200.
